Hyperhydrosis

What is?

Sweating is a normal condition that our body shows to adjust the rising body temperature to normal. If sweating is excessive it is called hyperhydrosis. It can be uncomfortable and embarassing. Most commonly affected areas are armpits, palms and soles.

Causes

No apparent cause may be found for excessive sweating. In this cituation it is called as “primary hyperhydrosis”. Secondary hyperhydrosis is related to an underlying condition such as eating spicy foods, obesity, menopause,overly active thyroid gland, diabetes mellitus.
